Dancing in the snow to "Winter In The Air"
Two dancers twirl between tall white-barked trees in a snowy forest while David Archuleta sings "Winter In The Air." more
It's a soft song, and the setting suits it. The first line is "Footprints in the snow," and this forest has plenty to spare, with pale trunks rising straight up out of the white. A young man in a dark jacket and a blue scarf stands smiling among the trees, his sleeves pushed up in spite of the cold.
SaveThe dancers keep turning between the trees while the song names small winter things, like the scent of evergreen and the sound of distant bells. The chorus isn't much more than the title, sung twice: winter in the air.
Near the end, they stand among the white trunks with their arms stretched wide, as if they're balancing on the cold air. It comes right as he sings "I could stay here forever."
SaveFans keep using the same two words for Archuleta's voice on this one, calm and soothing. One wrote that it's a long way from the upbeat "Christmas Every Day" and loved that he can do both. It's a song for a walk in the woods and a cup of hot chocolate after, and the dancers already have the woods part covered.
