Strangers start dancing to a street guitarist
Borja Catanesi plays his electric guitar wherever people happen to be walking. In this old square, they stop walking and start dancing. more
He is a traveling street guitarist, and his stage is whatever square he lands in. He has played in more than 30 countries for crowds that never planned to be crowds. Most of them were just on their way somewhere.
This square is ringed by old buildings and lit by the soft light of evening. People of all ages stand around in winter coats. He works that guitar hard, and people who were only passing through stop to watch.
Then the dancing starts. Couples pair off in the open space and move close and smooth, and nobody gets in their way.
SaveOne dancer, a woman in black, is the one people talk about afterward. She spins fast and sharp and seems to have energy to spare. The men are no slouches either.
SaveThe guitar keeps going and so do the dancers. After a while it's hard to say who will give up first, the people dancing or the man playing for them.
