Patient dog adopts three kittens, one a rascal
Murkin is trying to take a nap. That's not easy when three kittens treat you like furniture. more
The kittens are his. Murkin adopted all three when they were babies, and the four of them snuggle up together on the carpet in one warm heap.
He's the calm one in the group, which helps, because three kittens means a lot of tiny feet. They climb over him while he sleeps, or tries to, and he lets them without a fuss.
Then there's the orange one. He settles in close, rests a paw on Murkin's face and gives himself a quick wash, using the dog's snout as a workbench. Murkin lets that go too.
When the orange kitten wants to be somewhere else, he doesn't walk around. He steps over the pile, neatly and with great care, and then sits his whole rear end down on the face of a black and white sibling.
SaveMurkin stays where he's through all of it. The whole thing is over in about a minute, and the main complaint is that it ends. Twenty more would suit everyone, except possibly Murkin.
