Kitten falls asleep grooming Bailey

Spot starts at the feet. The kitten goes to work on Bailey's paws as if a pedicure were on the books, and each time Bailey pulls a foot away, Spot finds it again. It's a small salon with one very stubborn worker.

Then Spot moves up to the teeth, which matter more to him than anything. This isn't his first time playing dentist, and he doesn't stop just because the patient keeps turning away.

Bailey takes all of it with more patience than most dogs could find. He moves his feet and pulls back, but he never gets cross. When the kitten tickles one paw, the big dog looks very close to a smile.

Spot keeps at it, but grooming a dog that size is a lot of work for a kitten. After some gentle nudging from Bailey, he slows down and starts to nod off. Then the kitten who wouldn't let Bailey sleep is asleep on Bailey.

So Bailey gets his quiet after all, with a warm tabby on board. Judging by the look on his face at the end, he does not mind the trade.
