Rocky guards two napping puppies

Rocky the German shepherd has two new puppies in his house. One is a golden retriever, and the other is a shepherd pup, his own breed but tiny. more

Rocky's owner brought the pair home, and Rocky could have ignored them. He gave in fast. Now he sits with them on the floor and tucks himself in beside them under a chair.

Nap time is the best part. The two puppies fall asleep holding on to each other, one small paw wrapped around the other pup, and Rocky sits close by as if he is on guard.

Rocky can't quite leave them be, though. He keeps checking on the sleeping shepherd pup, who's not pleased and pushes him away with small paws. The golden retriever pup watches the whole thing and stays quiet.

After a while both puppies drift off for good. Rocky stretches out near them and shuts his eyes too.

Even then, he never fully clocks out. Rocky stays alert while he rests so nobody bothers his two small pals, and they sleep soundly with a big shepherd on watch.
