This man does nothing without his kitten
Wherever Michael goes in the house, a small orange kitten is already there or on his way. Sacha has made up his mind about whose kitten he is. more
Michael and Peggy adopted Sacha as a baby. Michael is a quiet, low-key sort of man who is hard to rattle. To a cat, that kind of calm is catnip.
SaveThe couple bring their new kitten home to meet everyone, and the moment they step inside he is off exploring. He takes to his new family fast and seems at ease with both of them.
Michael, though, is the one he wants to cuddle. Sacha also claims a seat on the couch beside a pair of striped pajamas, as if the spot had been saved for him.
SaveAfter that he keeps an eye on everything Michael does. He's there for the coffee. He supervises the tooth brushing. He rides along in the car, sits in on the reading and naps when Michael naps.
Sacha also stands guard, eyes fixed on the tiled hallway. Mostly, though, the two of them are together. Lunch and dinner are a standing date.
SaveEven Michael's workout turns into playtime with his kitten. Michael lets Sacha do what he likes and gives him the room any animal needs. Sacha uses that room to stay as close to Michael as he can. With Michael around, he feels safe.
SaveOn paper, Sacha belongs to both of them. In his own mind, he is Michael's.
