Jason Momoa gets the bathroom question
Kelly Clarkson has a favor to ask Jason Momoa. Her kids loved him as Aquaman, and they have a few questions. more
"I would love to meet your children," he says, and out they come. River is five and Remy is three. Kelly asks about a hug, and Jason scoops River up without missing a beat.
She gets straight to business. "Do you have kids?" He does, he tells her. Remy, meanwhile, is starstruck. Kelly says he is usually the one on the bed at home saying "I'm Aquaman," and today he even has Aquaman shoes on.
"Oh my god, he's gonna cry," Kelly says, so River takes over, with a quick whisper from her mom when she forgets her question. "Do you know Little Mermaid?" Jason does. Ariel is very sweet and very nice, he says, and a redhead too, "so I'm gonna teach you about redheads some day."
River first asked these questions in Kelly's office, and someone wrote them out on cards for her. Kelly calls that the best part, since River is in kindergarten and still learning to read. River also has something for Jason, and he looks it over in his lap. "Aw, thank you baby," he says.
SaveThen comes the big one. "Where does Aquaman go to the bathroom?" His answer is a single word. "Everywhere!" Kelly sees the logic at once, since he's in the water all the time.
SaveWhen Kelly offers Remy a turn, his big sister steps in to coach him. "Hey, you like Aquaman, you watch it, come on," River tells him. "She's the talker and he's the sensitive one," Kelly explains.
Kelly tells the kids they did awesome and thanks Aquaman. Jason is laughing as the visit wraps up, and Remy is still so nervous.
SavePeople keep coming back to how Jason treats the kids. He plays along as Aquaman, and he does it all in a pink sweater. Mostly, though, they love River doing her best to bring her little brother along.
