The father is Laurie Neale, and the sons are Dan, Phil and James. Before any of this, Laurie had a sudden heart attack. His sons knew some things had to change if their dad was going to recover.

Now the four of them stand together and sing. "When I look into your eyes, it's like watching the night sky or a beautiful sunrise," the song begins. The harmony is close and sure, with every note right where it should be.

It's a love song about holding on. "How old is your soul?" they sing, and then, "God knows we're worth it." As the chorus builds, one voice sings "I'm trying" and the others come in right behind it with "We are trying." Near the end comes the line "We're giving you our all."
