Steve Harvey versus the worst Family Feud answers
Family Feud runs on two words. Families shout good answer no matter what comes out of a relative's mouth, and Steve Harvey has to stand there and deal with it. more
Anthony gets a boy's name that starts with the letter H. He answers Jose, which, said out loud, does sound like it starts with H. His family claps and cheers. Steve can't hide his laughter.
SaveNext up is a word that follows pork, and the answer comes back as upine. Steve says "Huh?" and gets upine again, as in porcupine. Then he announces, "This is the greatest answer I've ever heard." When someone yells that it's number one, he bets every dollar he has that it isn't. Plenty of fans call it the best answer ever.
SaveThe question asks for a country a man with a mustache should visit to meet a woman with a mustache. Nathan says France. Darrell says Paris, then bursts out laughing. Steve lets him down easy. "You my man, Darrell," he says. "You know good and well it ain't." "I know it," Darrell admits.
A young man in college is asked to name something that's hard to do with your eyes open. He leans into the mic and says read. Steve would sure like to see him shut his eyes and try it. He also warns that once the folks at his school see this, it's going to be a rough life.
Toya is asked for the traffic sign that best describes her love life. She goes with don't pass go, and insists more than once that it's up there. Steve points out that unless you're driving the little car on the Monopoly board, that's not a traffic sign. "Them is instructions."
Rashaad is asked what a pilot might turn on after the plane takes off. He says the engine. Steve plays the pilot on the spot: "Folks, we're at 33,000 feet right now." Fasten your seatbelts, he tells everyone, he's about to turn the engines on and see if the plane stays up.
SaveNancy has to finish the line "I could never make love to someone who looked like my..." She answers my lovely husband, and adds that there's nobody better. Steve makes it clear nobody doubts she loves the man. The puzzle is why that's her answer. He asks again so she can say it twice, and her family swears it's up there.
Once, Steve is rooting for the answer. Caitlyn is asked the first thing people ask when they wake up from a coma, and she says what's new on the radio. Steve, who does a morning radio show, hopes to God it's up there, because he wants somebody waking up after eight months to ask what Steve said. The buzzer goes off anyway.
