This kitten's bed is a golden retriever

Bailey the golden retriever lies on his belly on the bed for an afternoon nap. A tiny orange and white kitten has turned him into a mattress. more

The kitten starts out on Bailey's back. Their coats are so close in color that at times it is hard to tell where the dog stops and the kitten starts.

Then the shuffling begins. About every ten seconds the kitten shifts to a new spot, and Bailey stays flat on his belly through all of it. For a while the kitten tucks in against the inside of his paw, right beside his nose.

Bailey isn't getting much rest out of the deal. All that shifting keeps waking him, and he pants hard while the kitten sleeps on. Every so often one of his eyes pops open. The kitten opens both eyes for a few seconds now and then, then drifts right back off.

People keep coming back to his patience. One viewer caught the moment Bailey seems to accept that he'll be lying still for a very long time. Another spotted the kitten using his ear as a blanket, and a third suggested he start charging for the room.

Plenty of others say the same thing about him, that Bailey gets along with every animal he meets. The kitten doesn't seem to need convincing.

Sunlight comes in through the curtains, and the kitten keeps moving. Nobody gets a perfect nap. The kitten gets the closest.
