Carrots for the bunnies, and most for the dog
Four baby bunnies sit on the couch. Lunch arrives in the mouth of a golden retriever named Bailey, and it's a big mouthful of carrots. more
The rabbits are about a month old, with floppy ears, and they have the couch to themselves. Bailey comes over with the carrots, greens and all, and puts them down among the babies. So far he is the perfect host.
Then, instead of leaving lunch to his guests, Bailey lies down on the couch and starts munching right along with them. The bunnies do not seem to mind. They hop around him and get on with their own meal, one big golden dog and four small rabbits eating side by side.
SavePlenty of people who watched have a theory about where the carrots went. By their count, most of them went into Bailey. A few kinder souls think he is only chewing them into pieces the babies can manage.
Not everyone is keeping score. Some just like the way he looks at the little babies, and others have decided he has spent so much time with rabbits that he now thinks he is one.
However the carrots were split, nobody gets chased off the couch. Four small rabbits hop around a dog many times their size, and Bailey keeps on chewing.
