Tricolor beagle puppies who cannot sit still

Asking a beagle puppy to sit still is asking a lot. Asking a whole group of them is hopeless. more

These pups are tricolor, marked in brown, white and black, and they're out in the grass doing what beagle puppies do. They wiggle. They yip. Nobody stays in one spot for long.

Beagle puppies with brown, white, and black markings in a grassy outdoor setting during autumn. The headline runs in white letters across the lower third. — Asking a beagle puppy to sit still is asking a lot.

They are looking for homes, and they make a good case for themselves. One viewer couldn't understand how anyone could stand there without hugging them. Others got right to the point and asked how much.

The noise comes with the breed. Beagles are known for being vocal, and some say the name itself comes from an old French phrase meaning wide throat. Others put it more bluntly and translate it as loudmouth.

These puppies are only just starting out, and they're already putting the name to good use. Whoever takes one home shouldn't plan on a quiet house.
