Black panther and Rottweiler wrestle in the snow

Venza the Rottweiler would rather chase sticks. Luna, the black panther he grew up with, would rather chase Venza. more

Luna was born in a traveling zoo and was rejected from her litter. Her surrogate dad raised her alongside Venza, so the big black cat grew up with a dog for company. Now she's right at home in the snowy woods, teeth and all.

A rest in the snow, with plenty of teeth on show.

Their walks go through deep snow, with a person close by. Venza is black and tan. Luna is black from nose to tail.

Venza has a full tail and natural ears, which many Rottweilers never get to keep, and people love to see them. He also has a taste for wood. If he is not chasing a stick, there's a good chance he is chewing on a log.

Luna has other plans for him. She stalks Venza through the snow as if she were invisible, though a black cat on white snow fools nobody. When he gets close, she pounces. They roll and wrestle until both of them stop, together, to catch their breath.

Luna also climbs trees and sharpens her claws, and her pounces have real power behind them. One fan called the pair a tank and a sniper. It is easy to tell which is which.
