Alex is a cockatiel with a yellow head, red cheeks and a voice like a very small dinosaur. more
Right now he's also molting. Cockatiels shed and regrow their feathers a couple of times a year, and while it happens they act itchy. They tug at every feather they can reach. Alex would like some help with the rest, mostly on top of his head.
In a cozy living room, a woman pets him and scratches his head. He bows his head low so she'll keep going. He is a very persistent bird.
SaveBetween scratches comes the sound his channel, Alex The Honking Bird, is named for. It is a small screech that sounds like a baby dinosaur. His fans call it honking, and they wouldn't change a note of it.
SaveFeathers fly when he shakes his head. Then she gently folds back the orange feathers on his head, and there are his ears. They're tiny, and the feathers keep them out of sight.
She gives him a little seed as a treat. Alex looks happy with it and shakes his head, as if he approves of the service.
