The Rottweiler mix who learned to whisper
Brody, a Rottweiler mix, gets to go to work with Holly Stephens. Keeping that perk means keeping the noise down. more
One loud bark on the job could end the arrangement, and Holly does not want to go in without her best friend. So she set out to teach Brody to keep his voice down. On a wooden deck, he sits and looks up, mouth just open.
SaveBrody has learned three levels of volume. He listens to the tone of her voice and sets his own to match.
Holly tells him to speak, and Brody answers with a bark so soft it barely leaves him. The whole thing lasts about six seconds, and the top comment still reviews it like a feature film, plot and special effects included. Another viewer swears the whisper has a southern accent.
SavePeople with louder dogs are impressed. One beagle owner, whose dog can bark really loud, plans to try teaching it at home. Brody, for his part, is ready for the office.
