Head-first dive for a golden retriever puppy
Nobody has to coax Mia into the family pool. On her very first visit, the tiny golden retriever puppy jumps straight in, head first. more
She's not scared at all. She is also very small, so she goes right under. Then she bobs back up on her own and starts to paddle, with a better dive behind her than a lot of people ever manage.
SaveGoing under gives her a fright. That is enough excitement for one go, and Mia heads for the pool steps, where the water is shallow, and stays there for a while.
When she tries again, she does it her own way. She jumps back in and swims carefully along the edge of the pool while her owner watches closely.
Before long she is out on the dry deck, where her German shepherd sibling keeps her company. Her owner tries to talk her back into the water. Mia is in no hurry at all.
SaveShe does go back in, when she's ready. After one more swim it is time to go inside, and her human brother gives her a proper bath with puppy shampoo.
Mia seems to like the bath, and after it comes her favorite part, a belly rub from her brother. Next there is a dog bone to chew, and then some pancakes.
SaveShe has one more game left in her. While her owner sweeps the floor, Mia goes after the broom. Then the long day finally catches up with her, and she falls asleep.
