Ginny is a counselor at Myers Park High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. At the school talent show, she's also the one trying to out-dance her son. more
She and Scott built a routine for a show that raises money for Susan G. Komen, the breast cancer charity. The audience starts cheering at the very first moves.
The playlist jumps across the decades. It runs from Bruno Mars and "Uptown Funk" to "Cotton-Eye Joe" to the "Macarena," with several more songs in between.
At one point it turns into a little dance-off, parent against child, each trying to top the other. Most kids would rather hide when a parent starts dancing in public, and Scott is up there on purpose.

Who did it better stays open for debate. The crowd cheers for both of them and doesn't seem to mind.
