Hugo the brown bear versus a bale of hay

Snow, ice, a few tufts of dry grass and one bale of hay. For Hugo the brown bear, that's plenty. more

Hugo was found as a cub and now lives at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, where he spends his days doing the things bears do. On this cold day he stands at the edge of the icy water, head down, nosing at the dry grass along the shore.

Someone summed him up with a twist on an old song. Bears just want to have fun. On a cold day in Alaska, one bale of hay seems to be all it takes.
