Mama bear takes over a backyard pool

There's a swimming pool in this backyard, a basketball hoop beside it, and a mother bear sitting in the water like she owns the place. more

She has four cubs with her, which explains a lot. Viewers took one look at the size of that family and decided she had earned the break. Spa day, several of them called it.

The pool isn't exactly private. A cub waits on the deck nearby. Even in the animal world, it seems, a mom can't take a bath by herself.

The homeowners, bless them, let her be. Somebody asked whether a window was really enough to separate the people inside from a mama bear, which is a fair question.

At one point the smallest cub falls behind. It's slower than the other three and seems to have its own plans. Mom notices. She goes back for the little one, picks it up and points it the right way, and that's the part people talk about most.

There's always one kid who doesn't pay attention to mom. Luckily, this mom has her eyes everywhere.
