Two huskies, two goldens and one fruit bowl
The rule is two words long. Leave it. Then whoever is in charge walks out, and four dogs are left alone with a bowl of fruit. more
The dogs are Kakoa and Sky, two Siberian huskies, plus Sammie, a golden retriever, and Summer, a golden retriever puppy. They are taking the don't touch it challenge, which is more often tried on toddlers. Here the treat is not candy. It's a bowl of fruit and vegetables.
A blue-eyed husky sits at the table and looks up as a hand reaches toward the bowl. "Okay, leave it," comes the warning. "Okay, leave it."
SaveSammie gets her own send-off. "Alright, Sam, I'm gonna head down. Alright, leave it." Her answer is to walk away from the whole thing. No fuss, no fruit.
Summer looks like the sure bet to crack first. She is a puppy, after all, and puppies are not known for patience. She waits anyway, and she keeps waiting.
SaveSky is another story. Back in the room, the bowl tells on her. "You ate this. No, Sky."
Next is a question every dog owner has asked at least once. "Okay, what do you have to say for yourself?" Nobody answers. The puppy, for the record, passed.
