Loca the pug can't run, but she can bounce
Loca's three siblings run up and down the hill with ease. Loca, a light beige pug, does not run so much as bounce. more
When she tries to keep up, it all comes out as hops and flips. There is a lot of bouncing. There's not much forward.
Loca tells the whole story herself, in a song sung in her voice. She describes her siblings and how easily they run, then owns up to her own talent, which is flipping and jumping all over the place. The line people remember best says it plainly, mild swear word and all. This pug can't run.
It would be easy to make that sad. The song won't have it. There's a moral at the end, and it's a sweet one. Not being able to run is no reason to cry, Loca sings. She loves her life, her house and her family, and what makes it all okay is that her family loves her.
SaveHer siblings still get the hill. Loca gets the bounce, and the last word.
