Husky meets his plush twin
There are two Keys in the living room, and only one of them is a real husky. The other is a plush copy, and it came with a tiny waffle. more
Key gets to work the way he usually does, by knocking things flying. Cushions go. Toys go. The living room is his stage, and he plays every scene big, with a face and a sound for whatever he is feeling.
Then there's the small Key, a plush made to look just like him, sitting where it was put with a tiny waffle of its own. The real Key takes his own toy waffle in his mouth and sits down right next to the copy, as if to settle who the star of this house is.
SaveThe waffle is the problem. He rests his chin on it like a pillow, and he gives it the long look of a dog deciding whether a bite would be worth the trouble.
When his human lifts the plush, Key's nose goes up with it, right up against the toy. "You're too close," comes the complaint, followed by one request after another to back up.
SaveFinally he backs up and holds still. "Good boy," his human says. "That was a challenge, wasn't it?" The plush Key, for the record, never needed to be told.
