Brett's love for his dog was never a secret, and this afternoon in the park makes it plain. Edgar splashes through the water early on, kicking up a spray of drops that shine in the warm, golden light.

Edgar starts the afternoon in the water, throwing drops into the late light.

A red checkered blanket is spread on the grass, and the late sun is on everything. It is the kind of scene a love song usually saves for a sweetheart. Here the sweetheart has paws, and nobody involved is complaining.

Later comes a walk under the trees, and now there are two dogs on red leashes instead of one. It's only a stroll across the grass, the kind of plan any dog would vote for.

Fans have their own favorite parts. One picks the steak dinner and the motorcycle ride, which for a dog sounds like a perfect day out. Plenty of people agree with the fan who said to get yourself a man who would do all this for his dog.

Another figures the one thumbs-down must have come from a cat. Someone else asks Brett to take Edgar along on everything from now on, since the two of them come as a package.
