The secret, as Grace tells it, is a nightly tot. "My little drop of whiskey. I don't drink anything else. I don't drink in the day." Her bottle of choice is Famous Grouse, and the nightcap has been part of her evenings for more than 60 years.

The recipe has changed a little with age. Her doctor told her, "Grace, you're getting older. Put a little drop of water with it." So now she does, and the nightcap goes on.

Marrying her late husband, Leonard, was the highlight of her life, and they were married for 53 years. But Grace won't pick a favorite decade. "I loved them all," she says. "Every one."

The reporter says it looks like she is still loving them. "I hope so," she answers. "I'm not going anywhere." She hopes for more parties, and she has a second rule to help: stay positive and skip the stress.

"If you worry, it gets you down," Grace says. "I never, ever worry." Her friends would not be one bit surprised to gather again for the same song this time next year.
