The Queen welcomes Paddington to a Jubilee tea at Buckingham Palace.

Paddington thanks her for having him. "I do hope you're having a lovely Jubilee tea," he says. When she offers him a cup, he says, "Oh yes, please," and then gets ahead of himself. He picks up the pot and drinks straight from its long spout.

Everyone else in the room stares in disbelief, and they're not pleased. The Queen looks more amused than anything. Catching his mistake, Paddington tries to pour her a cup, but he drank too much too fast, and the pot is already empty.

Paddington tries to pour the Queen a cup after drinking the pot dry himself.

"Oh dear," he says, and turns to his backup plan. "Perhaps you would like a marmalade sandwich," he offers. "I always keep one for emergencies." His is in his hat.

The Queen is a step ahead of him. "So do I," she says. "I keep mine in here, for later." Hers is in her bag.

Word comes that the party is about to start. "Happy Jubilee, ma'am," Paddington says, "and thank you for everything." She tells him that's very kind. Outside, people cheer and a marching band starts up, and the two of them join in, tapping their spoons on their cups and plates.
