A bossy baby goat and two kittens who won't move
Two kittens named Roger and Phil have just moved into the barn at Sunflower Farm Creamery in Cumberland, Maine. Maya, a golden baby goat, is not sure they belong there. more
The kittens take it slow at first. They sit around the barn stairs and watch the baby goats and their mamas go about the day, and someone has set out a bowl of goat milk, which they are already happy to drink.
SaveContent and sleepy, they climb onto a hay bale for a nap. From up there they can see the little goats getting milk from their mother, which seems to be the best show in the barn.
Then Maya arrives. While Roger is resting, the little golden goat climbs up the pile of hay and plants herself right in the kittens' space.
SaveShe wanders off for lunch. When she comes back she tries to scare the kittens off the hay, but the kittens move fast, and the quick scramble startles her instead.
Roger and Phil decide to make a stand together. Maya answers with her head, butting at them again and again to knock them off the bale and take back her spot. One viewer calls them her "I'm the boss here" head butts.
SaveThe kittens aren't easy to frighten. Butt after butt, they stay on the hay bale, two small cats who have decided the hay is theirs too.
Maya finally gives up and leaves them alone. The hay bale goes quiet again, and the two kittens have it to themselves.
SaveThey go back to playing together on the hay, and before long the two of them are tussling a little. Neither kitten has a tail. As the top comment puts it, this farm is clearly trying to have the cutest barn in the universe.
