A husky, a beanbag and one fake tear
Somebody is lying in a beanbag in Key's room, and the Siberian Husky would like a word about it. more
As far as Key is concerned, every beanbag in his toy-filled room belongs to him. So he sits up tall beside the dark couch and takes the matter to Nan.
SaveHe doesn't hold back. Key makes his case in yips, whimpers and the odd husky howl. Nan wants to know if he would like the intruder out of the beanbag, and if he'll go and sit in it once she leaves. Key gives her a look. "Well, I'm asking a question," Nan says. "Don't look at me like that."
In the middle of the protest, Key wipes away a fake tear. The top comment is all about that tear.
SaveNan is a good audience. "What you have to put up with," she tells him. "She just steals your bean bag and doesn't have another thought about it." Key drinks in every bit of it.
Then Nan turns it around. "But actually it's her bean bag she's sat in," she says, "not yours." Key's reply is to turn and chew at his own back end. "You can chew your bum instead," Nan tells him.
She does agree that everything belongs to Key. It's his room, and all his toys are out there. He just can't have every room in the house. "Every room belongs to you," she tells him. "Except mine."
That's where Key stops listening. He puts his chin down and studies the floor, and as one fan puts it, even his silences are dramatic. "No good trying to ignore me," Nan says, "pretending there's something interesting on the carpet."
SaveKey isn't allowed on her bed either, and he makes it clear he doesn't agree. Nan has the last word. "Sulk," she says. "Oh, poor baby."
